Norfolk and Western Power In Color from Morning Sun Books is the first in a series of all-color books covering railroad's locomotive fleet. The N&W's miniscule switcher fleet grew with the 1964 expansion, which included the Nickel Plate Road, the Wabash, and other railroads. Volume 1 is a look at N&W's switchers and slugs, the E-units and F-units acquired through the 1964 mergers as well as the electrics of the former Virginian Railway.
